DJ Khaled knows a thing or two about dishing out motivation, and he recently had some to give out to his son’s class at his school. On Wednesday (April 20), the Miami native went to school with his son Asahd and joined the students during reading time where the Grammy Award winner read a book to them.
In the video shared by DJ Khaled on Instagram, the students sit around the We The Best leader as he reads Baby Ballers Michael Jordan by Bernadette Baillie next to his son Asahd. The kids were engaged and asked questions regarding the story, and in true DJ Khaled fashion, he laced the class up with some major keys.
“This morning I went to my son school and read a amazing book call Michael Jordan ( baby ballers ) YOUNG WORLD THE WORLD IS YOURS KEEP GOING !,” DJ Khaled wrote in the caption of his post.

It should come as no surprise that DJ Khaled read a book about NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan. He’s an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls legend and has a massive collection of his signature sneakers in his closet. Khaled took his passion for sneakers a step further when he inked a new deal with Jordan Brand that include his own colorways.

The 46-year-old revealed the news on April 11 with an Instagram post showing the We The Best collection, which includes sneakers, an apparel line, and Friends and Family exclusives. The pair is the Air Jordan 5’s that come in salmon pink, off-white, teal, and purple. “We The Best” is inscribed on the back heel where “Nike Air” is placed on the limited-edition pairs, which look to be for just Friends and Family.
