After his ousting from G-Unit and several shots from the group in interviews, Young Buck has finally given some real-time comments to the situation.
In a Friday interview with the XM Radio show “Raw With Mz Kitti,” the Nashville, Tenn. emcee gave his opinions on the happenings with 50 Cent and co. for the first time since he released the song “The Interview.”
“A lot of this shit that 50’s doing towards my situation, I’m just not used to,” he said on the air. “I’m a street nigga, I’m ain’t used to niggas just saying shit and just doing any of this shit. I’m like ‘Hold up.’ “
Notably avoiding inflammatory comments about the group, Buck commented on 50’s chain getting snatched at an Angola show (“That never happened when I was there…so I’m looking at it from a perspective of, how did that happen?”), and how he should be careful to secure his foundation and appreciate the people who helped him reach his success (“I think 50’s won so much, losing is not a thought. … Life is a motherfucker, you gotta be careful when you do that.”). Buck also spoke about how the rift with 50 impacted his relationship with Sha Money XL, the former president of G-Unit Records and Buck’s manager.

“The minute that 50 went public and said ‘Yo Buck, you kicked out of G-Unit,’ Sha Money pretty much disappeared from me for like two, three weeks. No contact at all,” he said. “After that situation, I went to calling Sha, because he’s my manager, and Sha just disappeared.”
Buck still maintained that he’s the best man at Sha’s wedding, and that there are no hard feelings toward him.
Outside of G-Unit business, Buck gave props to The Game and Snoop Dogg—the former for reaching out to friends of Buck to extend an olive branch, and the latter for showing love to Tennessee when he visited. “This motherfucker really showed my city more love than any motherfucker … and that goes for anybody and everybody, 50 Cent and all them … and I’m signed to 50 Cent,”Buck admitted. “But 50 Cent has never been to my house. 50 don’t know where I live, on my child’s life. I don’t even think he’d know my child’s first and last name if I asked him. My whole thing is, when (Snoop) came to my home like that — he hung out in the hood and the projects — sh** like that, you can’t buy with money. Money can’t buy that sh**. I appreciate that sh** more than anything in my life.”
Despite the G-Unit turmoil, Buck seems to be keeping busy. He namedropped his label Cashville Records, his David Brown Clothing line, and his Ten-A-Key Timepiece watch collection.
