Wendy’s and McDonald’s have had their share of beef over the years, but Mickey D’s likely didn’t see what was coming when Pusha T set his sights on the famous fast-food chain. On Monday (March 21), the former Clipse rapper dropped the “Spicy Fish Diss Track,” a hilarious single aimed at obliterating the Golden Arches.

Juicy J is apparently ready to get in on the action. Shortly after the track arrived, the Memphis rap legend tweeted, “What’s up mane @McDonalds check yo DM,” a solid indicator he’s ready to come to McDonalad’s defense.

This isn’t the first time Juicy J has sent McDonald’s the bat signal. Last July, he pinged the company about a potential collaboration called the “trippy burger,” but it never came to fruition — at least not yet.

Pusha T’s relationship with McDonald’s is complicated. Early in his career, he penned the “I’m Lovin It” jingle, the longest-running marketing campaign in McDonald’s history. But according to an interview with Rolling Stone, King Push is still frustrated by the lack of payment.

“I am solely responsible for the ‘I’m Lovin’ It’ swag and the jingle of that company,” he said. “That’s just real. I am the reason. Now I gotta crush it. I did it at a very young age at a very young time in my career where I wasn’t asking for as much money and ownership. It’s something that’s always dug at me later in life like, ‘Dammit, I was a part of this and I should have more stake.’

“It was like half a million or a million dollars for me and my brother [No Malice] — but that’s peanuts for as long as that’s been running. I had to get that energy off me, and this [ad] was the perfect way to get that energy like, ‘You know what? I’m over it.'”

Pusha T Ethers McDonald's On Arby's 'Spicy Fish Diss Track': 'Now I Gotta Crush It'

Either way, Pusha T thinks the “Spicy Fish Diss Track” belongs in the Hip Hop history and believes it’s superior to his infamous Drake diss “The Story Of Adidon.”

“We had a good time [with ‘Adidon’], but I’m over it,” Push said. “I’m the first-ever fish sandwich diss ever, and I should go down in history for that. I hope [‘Spicy Fish Diss’] has more cultural impact [than ‘Adidon’], ’cause that’s gonna go direct to my pocket.”
