Nearly a week following release from a 241 day prison term at New York’s Rikers Correctional Facility, Foxy Brown appeared back in court today, this time in Florida for battery and resisting arrest charges from an incident in February of 2007.

The femcee allegedly squirted hair glue at the owner of Queen Beauty Supply in FL, and attempted to knock over display shelves and further assault him. She was also accused of resisting arrest by struggling with an officer, who Foxy claims brutalized and racially profiled her.

According to CBS, Foxy‘s court appearance was supposed to be a status hearing but instead she decided to arrange a plea deal with the State Attorney without using her local attorney. As a result, Foxy‘s attorney resigned from the case and the judge granted her two weeks to find new representation and return to court May 8th.

Unfortunately, this will not be the last time in court for Foxy. The artist is due back in Kings County Supreme Court on May 5th for an additional incident in which she allegedly assaulted her neighbor with her Blackberry, which subsequently led to her probation being revoked and incarceration.
