Los Angeles, CA

It’s no secret that Snoop Dogg is an animal lover as he has over 11 dogs and two cats as pets. One of the scariest things a pet owner can go through, however, is when their beloved animal goes missing, and Snoop experienced that earlier this week when his French Bulldog, Frank, was lost.

Thankfully, Frank was returned to Snoop within a few short days and the West Coast legend made sure to thank the “lovely couple” who found his dog. Snoop jumped on Instagram on Tuesday (February 1) to send a thank you message to the couple and promised to take care of them for their good deed.

“Yo, I want to thank y’all for returning the dog back to us,” Snoop said. “We appreciate that. Frank made his way back home. We appreciate all the love and the support we got on Instagram. We got the dog back, and to the lovely couple that brought the dog back, I got some gifts for y’all for looking out.”

The couple must have seen Snoop Dogg’s missing dog poster that he shared on Instagram on Monday (January 31). According to the poster, Frank went missing on January 30 near 49th street and Figueroa in Los Angeles and there was a cash reward for whoever located him.

Now that he’s been reunited with his pooch, Snoop Dogg can shift his attention back to the upcoming Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show on February 13. The 50-year-old rapper will be taking the stage alongside Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige for a historic performance.

The hype for the show is so high that fans are even placing bets on whether Snoop will light up a blunt during the performance. Marijuana is legal in California — where the Super Bowl is taking place — but the NFL does have strict policies that may keep Snoop from lighting one up.
