Cardi B always manages to surprise people with those she crosses paths with. The Bronx-bred super star has met with former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, fashion media mogul Anna Wintour, actor Robert Pattinson and more, but her next meet-up might be the biggest yet.

On Wednesday (January 26), Cardi B took to Twitter with a message to her followers regarding the next big name she wants to sit down with. The Invasion of Privacy rapper is looking for someone to connect her with the Duchess of Sussex herself, Meghan Markle.

“I need a chat with Megan Markle,” Cardi tweeted.

Cardi B didn’t offer an explanation as to why she wants to meet with Markle, but one could assume the media scrutiny and legal issues they have both experienced may have something to do with it. Meghan Markle is currently suing Associated Newspapers Limited for publishing a personal letter she sent to her estranged father, Thomas Markle.

Cardi, on the other hand, was awarded over $4 million in damages earlier this week after successfully suing YouTuber Tasha K for defamation of character. Tasha published several “slanderous and defamatory” statements about the mother-of-two.

Following her victory, Cardi took to her social media to express her feelings throughout the whole ordeal.

“During this trial, all of you have learned about the darkest time in my life,” she said. “That moment in time was fueled by the vile, disgusting, and completely false narratives that were repeatedly and relentlessly being shared online. I thought I would never be heard or vindicated and I felt completely helpless and vulnerable.

“I really hope that my experience forces all of us, but especially the platforms who allow this behavior to be a part of their communities, to re-think what moves us forward as a society versus what cripples us.”
