Kanye West Investigated For Allegedly ‘Punching Fan’ In Los Angeles

Kanye West is under investigation for an alleged battery that took place in Downtown Los Angeles early Thursday (January 13), according to TMZ.

Law enforcement sources relayed that Kanye was in some sort of argument that led to an altercation where he allegedly shoved an individual around 3 a.m. PT near popular late-night spot Soho Warehouse.

According to FOX11, a fan approached Kanye in his SUV and their conversation turned physical to the point Ye allegedly punched the autograph-seeker.

The case is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department as a misdemeanor battery, which would carry a maximum of six months behind bars.

Kanye West’s legal history includes a pair of arrests stemming from altercations with paparazzi photographers at Los Angeles International Airport in 2008 and 2013.

TMZ also got their hands on a video clip of an enraged Kanye in a parking lot talking to a pair of women. It’s not known exactly at what point in the night the footage was taken.

“Did y’all say that or not,” he can be heard asking. “Did y’all say that or not? Cuz that’s what happened right fucking now!”

      1. You are such a pessimistic weirdo and an obvious loser…you’re on EVERY post being a lame and a loser.

    1. My guess is this wasn’t a fan. SoHo is a famous restaurant and hang out for rich shit heads. It’s where they go to indulge. He was probably drunk at 3 AM and just wanted to be left alone. I’ve lived in DTLA and “fans” are not just wandering around looking for autographs at 3 AM. No one is out at that hour but lame ass paparazzi and it’s not even a nice area. Full of crack heads. Given what I know he probably was being trolled or harassed and soon as he put hands on dude the cover story became “I was just asking for an autograph!”.. like what ever. I’ve ran into Tyler the Creator and a few big names just going about my day and never felt like staring or bothering anyone. In person people are people and if you can respect that your either after clout or a fucking weirdo.
