Brooklyn, NY rapper Skyzoo has remixed his critically acclaimed Corner Store Classic mixtape for digital release on April 8th. The tape, originally hosted by DJKay Slay and Mick Boogie, was a hit in 2007, and Sky is re-releasing it as a “digital only” remix.

“I basically remixed the whole tape into 3 parts; one part is certin favorites from the original version like ‘Cop & Go’ and ‘Never Sleep’, another part is remixes of certin songs like ‘Hold Tight,’ ‘Close Reach’ and ‘Bragging Rights,’ and the last part is all new music like ‘I Shine,’ ‘Raw Rap’ and the single ‘The Necessary Evils’. It’s a dope revamp of what was already a really successful project,” Skyzoo told HipHopDX.

The project features new production from Needlz, M-Phazes, Bei Maejor, Black Milk, 9th Wonder and more. Available through iTunes, Napster, HipHopSite, Rhapsody, and Emusic. The Corner Store Classic-Remix drops tomorrow, April 8th. Also be on the look out for the official video for “The Necessary Evils” in the next few weeks right here on HipHopDX.com.
