Young Thug is showering Nicki Minaj with some high praise. Thugger took to his Instagram Story on Thursday (January 6) to declare the queen of Young Money as one of the top five greatest female artists to ever grace the microphone.
“Nicki Minaj definitely top 5 female artists of all time,” Thug said. “She definitely in the top five. For me, though. Just for me. I think for the majority of people in the world, she definitely in the top five.”
It sounds as if Thugger is referring to all female artists even outside of the Hip Hop landscape when it comes to Nicki Minaj’s greatness.

The YSL boss and Nicki have teamed up in the past on tracks such as 2018’s “Anybody” and they more recently both guested on Elton John’s “Always Love You” which arrived in October 2021.
Nicki Minaj has yet to respond to Thugger’s flowers and her most recent album arrived in 2018 with Queen. She’s rumored to be working on her fifth studio album, which could arrive in 2022 and will be her first as a mother. Nicki also made history in November when she picked up her first diamond plaque in 2021 with “Super Bass.”
