It looks like Diddy is at it again! Making the Band male-group Day 26 rules the charts with their self-titled debut album selling 189k this week. The ladies of Diddy‘s Danity Kane, though #1 last week, have dropped to #4 selling 88k. They were beat out by debuts from Panic at the Disco and Counting Crows, respectively. Rick RossTrilla comes in at #6 with 51k, while Flo Rida slips in at #9 (33k sold) to round out the Hip Hop/ R&B artists in the top 10 for the first week of April.

The eclectic sounds of Gnarls Barkley move up on the charts this week from a #18 debut last week to #12 this week. The Odd Couple sold just under 29k. Snoop Dogg‘s Ego Trippin’, which has been met by luke-warm reviews, lands the #13 spot with 28k units this week. In her 55th week on the chart, troubled songstress Amy Winehouse still manages a #21 spot on the charts, her revival coming after multiple Grammy wins for 2007. Back to Black sold just under 21k this week and is nearing double platinum with over 1.8M sold to date.

Erykah Badu‘s New Amerykah picks up a little speed from #37 last week to #28 this week with 16.7k sold while at #57 Lupe Fiasco still strives towards gold with a total of just under 431k sold. Rocko‘s Self Made album takes a large drop in its 2nd week from #21 to #62 (9.8k sold this week), while Fat Joe and Sheek Louch stumbled downwards as well. Fat Joe‘s Elephant in the Room fell from #56 to #74 in only its 3rd week with 8.8k sold, while Sheek‘s Silverback Gorilla dropped from #41 to #86 in its 2nd week (7.9k sold). Detroit mainstay Guilty Simpson debuted his latest effort, Ode to the Ghetto, with 2k units sold while The Show, the debut album from new group EMC sold just over 1k total. Def Jam artist Freeway managed to finally break 100k this week with Free At Last selling 511 copies this week (100.2k total).
