With the holiday season in full swing, Trippie Redd is playing the role of Santa Claus and came bearing gifts in the form of a nine-track project titled Hate is Deadfor his fans. The Ohio native didn’t give much notice on the mixtape’s arrival but it arrived on SoundCloud on Monday night (December 20).
“@hnrzhunter is dropping 8 of my songs at 10pm if u comment ‘1400’ 50k times HATE IS DEAD mixTAPE hurry before it’s to late these are all songs by me only 1 feature,” Trippie wrote regarding his manager be involved in the release.
Trippie stars front-and-center standing alone to carry the effort with the only guest coming on the ninth and final bonus track “Hate” in K Suave. The 22-year-old gets experimental with catchy hooks and syrupy rhymes over starry production where he seems to be most comfortable in his own world.

Trippie Redd also paid tribute to late West Coast rapper Drakeo The Ruler who was stabbed and killed backstage at a Los Angeles festival over the weekend at just 28 years old.
