New York, N.Y.

Sleepy Hallow hoped to end his Still Sleep? Tour on a high-note back in his hometown of New York City, but his final show date was scrapped on Monday (December 13) due to Irving Plaza security concerns.

The 2021 HipHopDX Rising Star voiced his frustration with the venue who allegedly didn’t even want to let Sleepy into his dressing room hours before the show which was eventually canceled altogether.

“My show in NY was canceled,” the Brooklyn native wrote on his Instagram Story. “Security was on some hoe shit. They wasn’t even tryna let me in at one point. Apologies 2 all my fans who came out.. A refund is a must and I’m working [on] a free show for y’all rn.”

Winners Circle Entertainment also released a statement chalking up the cancelation to Irving Plaza security, disrespect and rudeness. The label is promising refunds and a new show to be rescheduled.

The show cancellation comes on the heels of Sleepy Hallow’s first NYC show at Irving Plaza which took place on Sunday (December 12) where two concertgoers were allegedly stabbed with a syringe, according to theNew York Post.

A 17-year-old male and 21-year-old female were enjoying the concert around 10 p.m. ET until they were reportedly jabbed in the buttocks but an unknown assailant.
