Kanye West has been pining over his estranged wife Kim Kardashian in recent weeks, making it clear he doesn’t want their impending divorce to proceed. But according to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Kardashian has made up her mind and won’t be attempting to reconcile.
Last month, the reality television star filed paperwork that would declare her legally single as they iron out the details of their split. In the docs, Kardashian and her attorney writes, “Irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between [Kanye] and me, which have caused our marriage to irretrievably break down. No counseling or reconciliation effort will be of any value at this time.
“There will be no prejudice to Respondent [Kanye] is our marriage is immediately dissolved, especially given the fact that throughout our marriage, we adhered to the terms of our prenuptial agreement and maintained the separate property character of our assets.”
Kardashian also claimed she’s been attempting to dissolve the marriage since February when she initially filed, but Kanye has yet to respond to her request to bifurcate and terminate the legal binding.

She concluded, “[Kanye] and I both deserve the opportunity to build new lives. Therefore, I am asking that my request to bifurcate and terminate our marital status be granted.”
Kanye has been working overtime attempting to win Kardashian back. During the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert in Los Angeles on December 9, he said onstage, “Baby, I need you to run right back to me. More specifically, Kimberly.”

But despite Kanye’s best efforts, Kardashian is apparently content just co-parenting their four children: Saint, North, Chicago and Psalm. She’s also proven she’s happy to support her estranged husband whenever the opportunity arises. She attended and even participated in Kanye’s Donda listening event at Chicago’s Soldier Field on August 26, showing up in a white wedding dress.

Kardashian and their children were on deck at the Free Larry Hoover concert as well. In fact, there hasn’t been a major event involving Kanye where she didn’t appear.

As noted, Kardashian filed for divorce in February, not long after Kanye’s failed bid for president. The G.O.O.D. Music founder was off the rails during his campaign and accused Kardashian of cheating on him with Meek Mill, called Kris Jenner a “white supremacist” and claimed they were attempting to have him committed to a mental institution. Their relationship appeared to unravel from there.
