Prior to his Easter address, T.I. had been confined to house arrest after posting $3 million bond.

The trouble began last October when T.I. was arrested in Atlanta in a parking lot near a Walgreens store for allegedly trying to buy weapons, just hours before he was to perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

Federal law prevents former felons from possessing firearms.
