Los Angeles, CA

A decade into his career,  Lil Durk is enjoying life as a fixture in Hip Hop’s mainstream scene. Boxing entrances can be quite the spectacle and Durkio accompanied boxer Gervonta Davis on his walk to the Staples Center ring ahead of his lightweight title bout with Isaac Cruz on Sunday night (December 5) in Los Angeles.

Draped in a white snapback, Rhude hoodie and a glistening Nuski chain honoring his fallen cousin, Lil Durk performed his fiery “Pissed Me Off” for the raucous Staples Center crowd while walking with Davis to set the tone for the fight.

Durk’s appearance could’ve been a good luck charm of sorts as the Floyd Mayweather-backed Davis retained his WBA lightweight title in a unanimous decision. Davis injured his hand mid-way through the 12-round fight but was still able to edge out Isaac Cruz in the hard-fought victory.

“Pissed Me Off” was released as a single in October and is expected to land on Lil Durk’s highly-anticipated 7220 album in 2022. He let fans know he was working on the album in November and expectations are through the roof with Durk promising only “anthems and no skips.”
