Back in March  of 2020, quarantined Netflix viewers of the world were glued to their screens because of the battle between ‘Joe Exotic’ Maldonado-Passage and ‘That Bitch’ Carole Baskin on the hit show ‘Tiger King.’

Netflix and chillers watched breathlessly as accusations were hurled back and forth ranging in everything from fraud, harassment and murder-for-hire plots to the feeding of a husband to the family’s pet tigers. Viewers couldn’t get enough and Rapper Cardi B was one such watcher.

Just in time for Season 2 of “Tiger King” on Netflix, Joe Exotic has been reaching out to none other than Cardi B herself for assistance with his unfortunate incarceration.

Take a gander at the trailer for Season 2 below.

Mr. Exotic has summoned Cardi presumably because she also found herself at odds with Ms. Baskin. In the Summer months of 2020 Carole decided to weigh in on the Cardi cult classic ‘WAP.’ Apparently, she didn’t find Ms. B to be a cool cat or kitten and apparently the feeling is mutual.

According to Billboard, it all began when the CEO of Big Cat Rescue chimed in on the use of exotic cats in the ‘WAP’ video.

Said Baskin,”the rappers’ use of big cats as props could be detrimental to them, particularly since it might ‘glamorize’ the idea of having them as pets. My guess is that most people won’t even see the Photoshopped cats in the scenes because the rest of it is so lurid.”

To which Cardi responded by clapping back, “Carole Baskin said that the ‘WAP’ video encouraged animal cruelty with its use of big cats? I’m not gonna engage with Carole Baskin on that. Like, that’s just ridiculous you know? Oh, Lord. Like, girl you killed your goddamn husband.”

Which brings our timeline back to the present and why Joe Exotic feels she’s the Woody to his Buzz and he’s got a friend in her.

Said Exotic via an unconfirmed Twitter account, “Cardi B when you see the truth in Tiger King 2 I need you to rally Everyone together to be my voice of freedom.”

Cardi B replied asking if it was the real Joe Exotic tweeting her and an alleged attorney for Joe jumped in, as did Netflix. “I can’t even imagine facilitating the call between @iamcardib and @joe_exotic. That collaboration may make the world explode. Here kitty kitty (the WAP remix) is so 2022. Cardi, I can probably get you on a call with Joe next week. He’s grateful for you taking on Carole early.”

There is no way to know if a call has actually taken place or not but fans everywhere are wondering if some plotting is taking place behind the scenes.

Is it possible that Cardi might make an appearance on a future episode of ‘Tiger King’? Who knows, but it’s probably safe to say that the one and only thing the show doesn’t have is a little Cardi B.
