Just when people thought Ray J and Princess Love rekindled their flame, the couple is right back where they started and heading towards a divorce. On Wednesday (October 6), TMZ reported Ray J is filing for divorce again, despite currently fighting a serious case of pneumonia.
Ray J had the paperwork filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, making it the third time the couple has attempted to go down the divorce path. Love kicked things off when she filed for divorce first in May 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the couple inside that summer, where they began to work things out.
By September 2020, the “Sexy Can I” singer had enough and filed for divorce himself, but Ray J and Princess Love tried to reconcile once more, moving to Florida with their two children Melody and Epik.

It seems that reconciliation was short-lived and things have gotten worse, though, as even a bout with pneumonia can’t keep Ray J from going through with the divorce.

Issues between Ray J and Princess Love began in 2019 when the fashion designer accused the “One Wish” crooner of abandoning her in Las Vegas with their child Melody. Love was also pregnant with Epik at the time she said Ray J left her in the dust.

According to Hollywood Unlocked, Ray J is reportedly hospitalized in Miami, Florida, battling pneumonia. Doctors wouldn’t allow anyone to see Ray J as they were worried he contracted COVID-19, but that turned out to be a false alarm. Ray J had to issue a statement for those who believe his family and friends abandoned him.
