Thai rapper and singer MILLI returns with her second solo release of the year, “Not Yet,” which premiered today (October 6) via YUPP!

Best known for her distinct rap stylings and unapologetic lyricism that have earned her the title of an artist to watch, MILLI shows off her range and tries her hand at dance-pop. “Not Yet” is an addictive synth-heavy track that intersperses signature ‘80s pop sounds with playful rhymes.

Although the artist has never shied away from belting out on covers posted on her official YouTube page and other singles, the track showcases her variety as an artist as she strays away from the R&B and rap-heavy releases we’ve heard from her so far.

Earlier this year, MILLI released “ฟาด (Whip it)” with rapper Tsunari and “Say It” with singer Jackie Trinity. Her first solo release of the year was “To The Max.”

One of Thailand’s most definitive young voices in contemporary hip hop, 18-year-old MILLI rose to prominence last year after her debut single พักก่อน” (Pakkorn/You Need to Calm Down)” went viral. MILLI has since had an eventful year, being named as one of GQ’s “Voices Of The Future” and trended on Thai social media in July after calling out the government for its pandemic response, prompting a police investigation, which was later dropped.
