Yesterday (September 9), Korean-American rapper Nafla dropped the visual for “Mobb Tang,” a standout track from his newly released Natural High album.
The black-white-and-red music video sees the Show Me The Rapper 777 alum undergoing what looks like an initiation ritual and getting his head shaved. The ominous track is a portmanteau of two New York hip hop icons: Queens’ Mobb Deep and Staten Island’s Wu-Tang Clan.
“Mobb Tang” follows the release of “run!” (ft. JUSTHIS) from last week. Shortly after, he also the shared a live performance of three of the tracks from the album—including “Mobb Tang.” The 13-track Natural High is Nafla’s first major project since 2020’s two-part record, u n u.
