It looks like N.O.R.E. and Shyheim have made peace.
Shyheim was incensed after Noreaga referred to Wu-Tang Clan affiliates Sunz of Man as “flunkies” during an episode of Drink Champs. Making matters worse, co-host DJ EFN and special guest Mickey Factz hysterically laughed along as Killarmy and Shyheim’s names rolled off their tongues.
As the Killa Beez swarmed, N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN promised to address the situation with a video statement, which arrived in the wee hours of Saturday morning (August 28).
Although Killarmy general 9th Prince appreciate their sentiments, he told HipHopDX it wasn’t necessarily enough, saying, “The only real way to solve this is to have Sunz of Man and Killarmy on the show and apologize while we are all in the presence of each other and on the show, so that the fans and all the other Wu-Tang Killa Beez can see his apology is real and sincere.”
Shyheim was also bothered they put Killah Priest on FaceTime but never gave him an official apology.
“You got played @realkillahpriest they put you on FaceTime,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “You didn’t even get a drink. My n-gga this is why you shouldn’t have two faces priest you laughed with @therealnoreaga and still didn’t get a apology all @therealnoreaga the n-gga said he was wrong. He used the wrong word but clearly in this video you said he saying a whole bunch of other shit I didn’t hear him say today on @drinkchamps.
He added, “I’m a man first before anything. yo @therealnoreaga good shit you 48 the n-gga. @realkillahpriest welp one down who else will be next to accept a apology that was never given shits crazy.”
Hours later, N.O.R.E. confirmed he’d spoken to Shyheim and invited him on the popular REVOLT podcast series. It’s unclear if any other Wu-Tang brethren were extended the same invite.
“Just spoke to @Shyheim_Rugged for 10 minutes DIRECT – NO middle men – Just Slime & Shy 1 on 1,” he wrote. “ALL POSITIVE ENERGY! Grown men sh** only! We spoke our peace; & he got his OFFICIAL invite to
@DrinkChamps ! Hopefully he accepts! @TheRealNoreaga @WhosCrazy #DrinkChamps.”
Shyheim has yet to accept — at least not publicly.
Notice how people who have the least going for them are always the easiest to offend. Happy people are too busy living their lives to dwell on petty shit.
And yet here you are commenting.
Yeah, that insult didn’t land, fella
Nore so weak. Just stand by what you said, even though no one agrees with you.
Lol NORE back-pedalled pretty fast, scared as hell
Nore shit his pants, I can smell it from here
Unpopular opinion: who gives a fuck what the killa beez have to say, seriously. They may be good at wrapping in a technical sense but they don’t sell shit they’re irrelevant in that regard. If it was the actual Wu-Tang clan I could see apologizing because they actually mean something but they really are just wu-tang’s little flunkies regardless of how well they can spit
And who gave you permission to talk in the presence of men?
Tell em God. It’s funny how fools never recognize the greatest movement in hip hop history. People just want to talk bc they trolls, russian bots or lonely basement livin mf.
God Fazeem?? Had me in fits with that one G
Not “flunkies” but them affiliates were more distracting than they were helpful to the Wu legacy or success.
As a business move their releases and identities and music drew attn and $$ from the Wu.
As a show goer – I hated buying tickets to shows promoted as Wu Tang shows and them dudes roll out on stage.
Not “flunkies”… But they did water-down the Wu legacy.
Distracting? U rite though. From the puffy era. If you listened to any albums of theirs you wouldn’t say Sh$t. Leave us hip hop heads to debate this. Bc if u were, u wouldn’t say what u said. YOURE a real definition of a flunkie, from A fans perspective. Go suck on ur moms tits ya bish. She should e got an abortion with ur ignorance. Do the knowledge
What’s ur argument? Which albums watered down the Wu legacy? I’ll wait for a response. And don’t go to google or Wikipedia to strengthen your defense.
Stop it man…if you from that era you would have nothing but respect and appreciation for the albums that the Wu Affiliates left behind. Anybody who know Wu Tang understand that the spinoff crews are about a journey to another chamber in the Wu-Legacy but deeper than the original Clan. Die hard Wu listeners know this. Many will be called…few will be chosen.
There were alot of offshoot Wu groups that statement applies to…Sunz of Man and Killarmy are not them.
Nore “Sorry for offending yall, now please come on my show and give me views from it”.
