Lil Nas X is reconnecting with his humbling roots. After working at an Atlanta area Taco Bell in 2017 prior to his music career exploding, the “Panini” rapper has leveled up and been named the chief impact officer of the fast food chain, according to a Billboard report on Monday (August 23).

As part of his duties in the landmark partnership, Lil Nas X will be collaborating with Taco Bell to craft an “exclusive experience” for customers and make “menu innovations” that fit his brand. Within the first two months as CIO, his role will “combine food, music and philanthropy.”

“Life has come full circle, I officially work at Taco Bell again,” he wrote.

Other responsibilities in the chief impact officer role will be handing out grants for the Live Más Scholarship and making an appearance in the latest Taco Bell breakfast campaign. Fans can look for Lil Nas X’s role with the company to expand throughout the fall.
