Dr. Dre doesn’t use social media much, so any sort of activity gets a lot of attention. That’s currently the case for his Twitter account, which was inactive for almost two years until Sunday night (August 15) when he handed out a random “L” on the platform.

The Hip Hop mogul responded to a tweet from Twitter user @bowyoade, who praised UK singer-songwriter and producer V V Brown for her recent article in the Metro. Dre simply wrote “L” to the original tweet that was posted on August 3.

Dre doesn’t have any obvious connection to Brown, whose biggest song “Shark in the Water” peaked at No. 34 on the UK Singles Chart in 2009. There’s currently no word on whether it was a mistake or on purpose, but the tweet hasn’t been deleted.

Fans of Dr. Dre were confused about the bizarre interaction and took to Twitter to react to the tweet.

One fan wrote, “Dr. Dre just tweeted after two years just to hand someone an L. What a fucking goat.”

“DRE OUT HERE RATIOING PEOPLE NO WAY LMAO ‘Dr. Dre does not tweet,'” someone said, referencing his Twitter bio.

Another person joked he “forgot to log out of the burner.”

Dr. Dre Plays More Mythical Music For Another Hip Hop Legend

Dr. Dre recently came under fire concerning his homeless daughter, LaTanya Young, who launched a GoFundMe page after revealing she’d been living out of her car and working for DoorDash.

“I think GoFundMe campaigns are for people in desperate situations and I’m in a desperate situation,” she said. “I really don’t want to accept any handouts, but I appreciate anything that is offered. I have worked all my life and I know how to work for money but I’m in a difficult place right now. I believe in investing in your kids. That’s what I want to do for my kids so they are never in a position like I am right now.”

She added, “I know my dad is a busy man, but I hope he will see it and reach back out to me on a father-daughter level.”
