Filipino rapper K. Deal unveiled the music video for his new single, “Alunig” (Resonance), featuring Sica on August 6.
Directed by Neo Bautista of Alon Creatives, the spooky visual shows the two grappling with desire and its possible pitfalls and consequences. Sica raps on the llouis beat, “Ibang gutom ang meron kapag nalipasan ang tiyan” (It’s a different kind of hunger when you starve), while K. Deal unloads in his verse about his unwillingness to stay silent.
The track is K. Deal’s follow-up to last month’s “Spotlight.” On the other hand, Sica has been keeping busy with his solo music. Most recently, Sica dropped his debut album Hue for Ya and Not All That Glitters is Gold mixtape, in addition to Side Piece, his collaborative demo EP with producer RuiijiKun. Earlier this year, he appeared in Kartell’em’s sophomore album, Tell’em Wasak.
