Tory Lanez returned to Hot 97 for his first Funk Flex freestyle since ripping through eight minutes of fiery bars in 2017. The Canadian rapper pulled up on Funk Flex Monday night (July 19) to deliver a dynamic freestyle over Cassidy’s classic “I’m A Hustla.”

Tory brushes off how Twitter tried to cancel him but he’s still back on Funk Flex and moving how he wants. He then shouts out DaBaby, Roddy Ricch and Lil Baby and claims he was framed, which many connected to the Megan Thee Stallion shooting in July 2020.

“Shout out to DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Baby/What I’m about to say is gon’ sound a little crazy, but it’s true so don’t flame me/Y’all all would have got your awards if they didn’t frame me,” he raps.

This isn’t the first time Tory Lanez claims he was set up when it comes to him allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet outside a Hollywood Hills party.

“Megan people trying to frame me for a shooting/But them boys ain’t clean enough,” he rhymed on 2020’s “Money Over Fallouts.”
