According to Saigon, plans surrounding the release of his debut album are on schedule as possible.

While other media outlets implied that the album, Greatest Story Never Told, was again pushed back and that Saigon was looking for a new deal, the Brooklyn emcee denies so on his MySpace blog.

[For] the record, My album has NEVER been pushed back, EVER. I have NEVER turned in an album to Atlantic Records, NEVER. I have NEVER been on the calendar for a release EVER,” Sai writes. “If there was ever a date talked about it was from me being a wishful thinker and hoping I would come out on that date.

Saigon continues to say that he’s only been at the label offices about 10 times during his three-year tenure on its roster, and that even if there were disputes between the two, that “No record company will ever stop my movement, ever. My album is coming soon, but like a comet. No one knows actually when it’s coming, but when it comes, you know that mufucka has come.
