Pop Smoke ‘Faith’ Cover Art Original Photo Revealed

Pop Smoke’s posthumous album Faith is dropping Friday (July 16), and fans can’t wait for the day to arrive. There’s a lot of expectation going into the new album, especially after the wildly successful Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon continues to dominate the Billboard charts

On Monday (July 13), Pop Smoke’s team unveiled the album cover, which features a close-up black-and-white photo of the late Brooklyn rapper. The “faith” tattoo above his left eyebrow is highlighted to signify the title of the album. Unlike Virgil Abloh’s uninspired attempt with Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, the cover for Faith has been well-received by fans.

The cover uses an original picture by a photographer going by the name of Flixz, who snapped photos of Pop Smoke at a club. Pop Smoke wore a collared unbuttoned Dior shirt with a set of chains dripping in diamonds in the original image. Flixz took to his Instagram to celebrate the enormous opportunity.

“FAITH: the substance of all things hoped for. the evidence of things not seen,” Flixz wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. “All praise to the most high. Literally had no clue this was going to happen. Thank you to everyone at VictorVictor for this opportunity. Thank you every single person that supports me in everything that I do. ALSO GHANA TO THE WORLD!”

Fans were treated to an early listening of Faith when Pop Smoke’s team put up posters featuring QR codes that unlocked snippets in various locations in New York City and Los Angeles. People discovered a few of the posters and shared the snippets online, where they quickly went viral.

Pop Smoke’s Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon was recently crowned the best-selling Hip Hop album of 2021 so far. Steven Victor and the rest of Pop Smoke’s team hope they can equate that same success with Faith.

    1. Wack ass team should be ashamed. Can’t even wait, let the first album breathe, and put together a proper album and promote it. Just grabbing any money available. Label probably told them if you bring us another album by July 1st, we’ll give you…… “Yes suh, let me slap some bullshit together real quick and I’ll be right back with you”

      1. I said the same thing. No lead off single… just push out the album. The “Hello” single is still in heavy airplay rotation. I would let that single ride throughout the summer, then drop the leadoff single in the last quarter of the year… follow by the album at the end of the first Q.

    2. Paid advertising, leave even the slightest comment dissing his music and it won’t post on here smh lol
