Bill Cosby’s Rape Conviction Overturned – Somebody Check Boosie Badazz’s Pulse

In a shocking turn of events, Bill Cosby is reportedly set to be released from prison after serving over two years for sexual assault — and Boosie Badazz is likely dancing in the streets.

According to the Associated Press, Pennsylvania’s highest court overturned the embattled comedian’s sex assault conviction Wednesday (June 30) after finding an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case.

Cosby had previously vowed to serve all 10 years rather than acknowledge any remorse over the 2004 encounter with accuser Andrea Constand, who says the 83-year-old drugged and molested her at his suburban estate while she was a Temple University employee. Cosby was charged in late 2015 when a prosecutor armed with newly unsealed evidence arrested him just days before the 12-year statute of limitations expired.

Boosie has consistently stood up for Bill Cosby following his arrest and subsequent conviction, going as far to launch a petition to secure his freedom in last September. After Cosby’s mugshot surfaced online in October 2020, he tweeted, “THEM HOES LYIN FREE BILL COSBY ASAP.”

Shortly after Boosie Badazz was shot in Dallas, Cosby thanked Boosie Badazz for his continued support, writing, “On this 10th day of December 2020…I will pay homage to those who have supported me and my family, simply by saying, thank you. The first person to be recognized on Thank You Thursday is Rapper @BOOSIEOFFICIAL.

“Thank you for your support & I’m praying for you to have a speedy recovery and your mobility restored. Again thank you very much.” #ThankYouThursday #ThankYouBoosie #GetHealthyBoosie.”

Boosie Badazz Wants To Launch A Petition To Free Bill Cosby

Boosie wasn’t alone — Snoop Dogg also caped for Cosby on Instagram while condemning Oprah Winfrey for her friendship with convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein.

“Did that fake ass micheal Jackson shit to tarnish his name with them lying ass kids and here she is with a known rapist smiling and laughing,” he wrote at the time. “Fuck u and Gayle. Free bill Cosby.”

Snoop later apologized, claiming his mother gave him a stern lecture.

2021 marked the first year Cosby was eligible for parole under the three- to 10-year sentence handed down after his 2018 conviction. Cosby spokesperson Andrew Wyatt called the parole board decision “appalling.”

Prosecutors said Cosby repeatedly used his fame and “family man” persona to manipulate young women, holding himself out as a mentor before taking advantage of him.

    1. that sounds almost like justice (but only the letter of the law, not so much the spirit of justice), they got him on civil matter by forcing his testimony, so no double jeopardy folks. all we have now is the court of public opinion. too bad the DA was an idiot when it comes to the law, or too cowardly to charge him. most of us know at this point that he is a sordid monster, and i personally will not be hiring him for a revival episode of cosby show. im amazed that a black man got any justice at all. oh wait, it was a RICH black man. forgot that sometimes money can trump racism. he does deserve prison, but its not HIS job to put himself there.

    2. F•ck yes! Bill never folded and took that sex offender program or none of that bullsh•t. Stayed defiant and true and came out the otherside.

    3. Please read the details of his appeal before you celebrate. He’s clearly guilty he just had one of those rich people agreements when the previous DA agreed not to prosecute. Typical rich people justice.

      1. Please don’t wait 20 years to report a crime against you. Also, please don’t try to get to the top in unnatural ways like using your body. Problem solved!

    4. Why is everything about race in this country. I dont think anyone cares about what actually happened. Black people love that he’s free and white folks are mad. Wake up already, politicians are using this division to rob us blind.

    5. Men everywhere rejoice ! There was too much feminism involved in that case. Why 20 woman waited 20 years to say shit ? And what you was doing drinkung alone drinking with an old ass man anyways ? This aint had shit to do with race. This had everything to do with feminism.

    6. Dude’s a rapist. Straight. 20 years or 100 years later doesn’t undo a crime. Black people deserve better leadership and representation, Lord knows.

      1. It doesn’t undo the crime, however it puts the validity of it in question. Who remembers what happened last week, let alone 2o years ago? Peoples memories fade, witnesses move, etc. You have to report crimes immediately after they happen.
