Polo G is having an incredible 2021 and he’s perfecting the year with another evitable winner through his upcoming third studio album, Hall Of Fame.
On Wednesday (May 26), the perennial Chicago “rap star” unveiled the bulk of details for the pending album three-peat à la Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, and them.
“My goals for Hall Of Fame was just to make sure that I can show my diversity as an artist, really like elevate my sound, for the people to hear something that I ain’t ever did before,” Polo G said on Instagram as he brandished the album’s June 11 release date.
Naturally, the release date comes with its sturdy share of competition, most notably the official return of Migos as well another project from Kodak Black.

Hall Of Fame will cement the trio of self-anointing adulation headlines that the then 20-year-old would prove to be his reality going forward. His 2019 debut album Die A Legend cemented his name in the streets and industry alike, earned a platinum plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and the quadruple-platinum single “Pop Out” contributed to the mainstream success of Lil Tjay’s career.
In spite of being released during the onset of the COVID-19 nationwide quarantine, Polo G’s sophomore effort — 2020’s THE GOAT — was far from a slump, generated three billion global steams, 10 Gold and Platinum RIAA certifications, and has been a mainstay on the Billboard 200 for over a year.
Speaking of platinum, Hall Of Fame’s first single, “RAPSTAR” (which also spent two weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100) received its shiny certification in just a month and its follow-up, the Lil Wayne-featured “GANG GANG,” has already amassed over eight million views for its official music video.
