Following the chaos of all the missed opportunities in T-Pain’s DMs, there’s no better person to talk to about it than Instagram and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg.

T-Pain actually hopped on Instagram Live to get to the bottom of his issues with the man himself on Tuesday (May 11) and peppered him with plenty of suggestions on how to improve his popular app.

The “Bartender” rapper wondered if there would be a feature added where similar direct messages pop up to the one you just read. He compared it to the Instagram feature that gives users a list of similar accounts to the one that they may have just followed.

“The reason we have the ‘request feature’ is basically to prevent bullying or spam and other unwanted interactions,” Zuck responded. “To be able to filter that out. Ideally, we should be able to figure out who the other people who might be sending you messages are who should get into that. The feature isn’t quite as advanced today as hopefully, it is in the future.”

T-Pain just doesn’t want to miss out on messages as he did from celebrities such as Viola Davis, YBN Nahmir, Diplo, Fergie, NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns, Keri Hilson and more in the past. Mark Zuckerberg agreed they should show up in the primary folder, especially if it’s someone like Rihanna on the other line.

“I kinda feel like on principle anytime Rihanna sends you a message it should go into your main inbox,” Zuckerberg said.

As someone who’s always been ahead of the curve creatively, the Florida native continued to complain to the Facebook creator about his issues with the changes to the post button location on Instagram among other things on the platform.
