LOS ANGELES, CA.

Lil Wayne is teaming up with his GKUA cannabis line to put on a series of events. The first will be this summer on August 13 when Weezy and his Young Money crew of special guests take over the Los Angeles Coliseum for their UPROAR at The Torch show. Tickets for the show will be available starting next month.

“GKUA is about feeling inspired,” Lil Wayne said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to sharing that GKUA inspiration from the LA Coliseum. It is time to celebrate with friends.”

Weezy’s GKUA Ultra Premium brand continues to grow. Even prior to the annual concert event announcement, his cannabis line came to its fourth state when it became available in Oklahoma in March.

The first GKUA line of cannabis products originally launched in California in December of 2019. They have since expanded into Michigan and Colorado.Use the Weezy Weed Finder to find the most convenient spot.

“Weed inspires me and I’m all about spreading the love,” Wayne added. “The culture is thriving in Oklahoma so I’m happy to bring them the quality and potency of that GKUA.”

For anyone who purchases a GKUA product from a licensed dispensary where available, they will have the chance to receive a ticket with a QR code to secure a VIP Virtual Pass to UPROAR at the Torch.

While the New Orleans legend is sure to be sparking up for the unofficial weed holiday, Lil Wayne will still carve out some time for music as someone who lives in the studio. Earlier in April, the 38-year-old was spotted locking in for a session with Young Thug, which has fans anticipating another collaboration.
