Foogiano has reportedly been arrested in Memphis.
The 1017 Records signee was taken into custody at the Shelby County Jail on Thursday (March 11), according to XXL. He’s being charged with being a fugitive from justice.
The details weren’t immediately clear, but it’s likely in connection with a December 2020 warrant that was issued after the 2021 HipHopDX Rising Star allegedly burned off his court-mandated ankle monitor and went AWOL. He’d been on probation for a 2015 burglary, and had been given the ankle monitor after he was arrested earlier in December for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to a report, a judge issued the ankle monitor at a court hearing while setting Foogiano’s cash-only bail at $50,000. The same day, he let the device die when he got home and by the time it came back online, officers saw that it was now located on the side of a highway after being burned off.

The news comes just on the heels of rumors Foogiano’s girlfriend Renni Rucci would be joining the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta cast. Fans are hopeful the Gutta Baby rapper will be making appearances alongside his boo, but nothing has been confirmed – and of course, the current situation could get in the way.
