Yung Bleu and Tory Lanez’s short-lived beef is over. The pair of artists linked up on Friday (February 12) just hours following their war of words and found a common ground.
Bleu Vandross took issue with Lanez remixing his Drake-assisted “You’re Mines Still” banger without shouting him out or giving him credit. The HipHopDX Rising Star threatened to have the track taken down and further blasted Lanez on social media.
“Remixes cool but show love !” the Alabama native wrote in a since-deleted post. “Y’all n-ggas weird ! @torylanez I reached out to u on some let’s work shit. U never responded that’s cool ! Never gone get mad at that ! but u wanna remix my song and dnt even acknowledge a young n-gga tryna come up. U rap n-ggas be on some hoe shit.”

The R&B singer let Bleu know it was all love and he was just a fan of the song. Lanez wanted to sort it out in-person rather than have a public back-and-forth on Twitter.
“Crazy thing is … I love your music and your song , that’s why I remixed it,” he wrote. “You’re an incredible artist .. and I’ve been listening to yu since ‘Unappreciated’ .. but if you feel some sorta way, we can just talk like men over a phone and not social media. Love bro.”
After linking up in the midst of the pandemic, Bleu and Lanez got on the same page and laughed off their beef in a couple of posts to the Toronto singer’s Instagram Story. The duo even hit the studio and now have a collab on the way.

“We here, we just made a hit,” Lanez said with a smile. “We gon’ keep making hits. You not gon’ stop n-ggas from being positive because we don’t need more n-ggas beefing over stupid shit.”
