JACKSONVILLE, FL

Toosii and YK Osiris had their concert canceled Sunday night (December 27) after gunshots were heard near the venue. Footage from the city’s Regency Court Plaza and Sk8 City Fun Zone found a chaotic scene after police allegedly maced patrons in addition to both Toosii and the Def Jam signee.

According to Action News Jax, members of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office were speaking with security for the concert when they heard several shots fired in the area. Police responded to a separate call, but noticed a large crowd trying to enter the skatepark where the concert was supposed to be held. Hundreds of teens immediately scattered, which made police unable to identify the shooter. Police found “five bullet casings in front of a UPS Store in the same plaza as the concert venue.”

Toosii shared a clip captured of him riling up fans in attendance alongside Osiris while standing on a car before being sprayed with mace by law enforcement.

“Last night at my show in Jacksonville, Florida I got maced for no reason at all along with several of my fans (young fans),” Toosii wrote. “They shut it down because of capacity so I went outside to greet everyone and this is what happened. I love y’all and fuck them i’ll be back.”

There has been no word on a possible rescheduling of the concert. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire. The South Coast Music Group artist released his BIG STEPPA EP last week.
