Trae Tha Truth has spent numerous Christmas holidays giving back to the people of Houston and this year was no different.

The Houston rapper and his Relief Gang team spent Monday (December 21) and Tuesday (December 22) assisting families in need, including a partnership with the Houston Rockets to donate free groceries. On Christmas Day (December 25), Trae is set to be Santa Claus for the city and deliver toys to families all over.

“We getting ready for the Christmas trees,” Trae told KTRK in Houston. “We’re getting ready for the Christmas toys. We’re going to do another food thing for the holidays.”

On Sunday (December 20), he took to Instagram to reveal a “week of blessing” would be coming for those in need, including a major spending spree for new kicks.

“Im Back In Houston!!!” he wrote. “Its Time To Start This Week Of Blessin Those In Need….Today Is $10,000 Shoe Shopping Spree…”

In follow-up posts, he’s given energy towards assisting the homeless, hosted a toy drive and gifted over 50 families $150 each to purchase groceries for Christmas.
