Shreveport, LA

Gun violence continues to infiltrate the rap community a month after the shooting deaths of King Von and BadAzz Music Syndicate rapper Mo3. According to Shreveport, Louisiana breaking news reporter Timmy Lane, local rapper Blue Benji Kobe was shot and killed in broad daylight on Sunday (December 6).

On the day of the shooting, Lane tweeted, “24 year-old Jacoby Kentae Ware (Bluebenjikobe), was shot several times at around 2p.m. in the 7000 block of Pines Road. He was transported to Ochsner Health hospital where he succumbed to his wounds at 2:52p.m.”
