This week finds Hip Hop being drilled out of the top 15. Regardless, Kanye West still is the top selling Hip Hop album on the charts as Graduation creeps to double platinum landing at #17 with 35k sold this week. Right behind ‘Ye on this week’s charts find Keyshia Cole and Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em at #’s 18 and 19. Interestingly enough, Fergie is still moving units in her 59th week on the charts as Dutchess is #29 this week and almost triple platinum.
Elsewhere we find 50 Cent at #41 with 20k sold this week. Project Pat debuts Walkin Bank Roll with a decent 17k showing to land at #47 and Little Brother keeps it moving with Getback pushing 4k as an indy. What’s disappointing is watching how Chamillionaire’s critically acclaimed Ultimate Victory struggles to get to the 200k mark as it lands at #122 this week with just over 6k sold. Hurricane Chris’ huge single “Ay Bay Bay” means nothing on the charts as 5150 Ratchet moves a paltry 13k this weeks and hasn’t even make it to 50k in its second week.
