Fetty Wap Dedicates New Track To Recently Deceased Brother

Fetty Wap‘s younger brother passed away in New Jersey earlier this month and now the “Trap Queen” creator is paying homage to him on wax.

CNN confirmed 26-year-old Twyshon Depew was shot and killed on October 15 in their hometown of Paterson. Fetty spoke out about the devastating loss days later and on Tuesday (October 27), he previewed a song inspired by it.

“And I know you wish it wasn’t like this but boy your ass was all over the TV,” he sings on the record. “I be telling all my niggas be easy/Always hit my line if you need me/Looking at the clouds can’t be easy/Like why the fuck my brothers had to leave me?”

In an Instagram post revealing his passing last week, Fetty took responsibility for letting his younger sibling down.

    1. What happened to dude? I think he was blackballed. You can’t drop hits like he id and dissappear

      1. He was from New Jersey and regional sounds only last for so long without being claimed by a greater atmosphere like nyc or atl. He was on his own and always rep jersey which why he still holding it down there now and not really buzzin like that

    2. I’m not sure what to think I wasn’t there I know has a group ive listen to alot of sounds he made so I’m not sure what was happening there but at the sametime there are probably alot of other people who do black on black crime is out of control but people fighting about black lives matter maybe it’s time for guys with the funding to make safety first in black communities with building safer business and helping more but that aint bringing back your brother but hopefully your be able to deal with it as best as possible very sorry to hear that.
