Rap mogul Darrin “Dee” Dean was clinging to life last night after a motorcycle accident left him with severe head and neck injuries. Dean, 35, was riding a three-wheeled motorcycle along Ryer Avenue in the Tremont section of The Bronx at around 8:41 p.m. Thursday when he smashed into the rear wheel of a parked tractor-trailer on Coster Street, police said.

A Lincoln Hospital spokesman said Dean remains in “extremely critical condition with severe head and neck trauma.” Dean started Ruff Ryder Entertainment with his brother, Joaquin, in 1999. The label, which discovered rappers DMX, Eve and Drag-on, is part of Interscope Records.
