Polo G has dropped off a documentary to accompany his newest album, THE GOAT.
On Thursday (May 28), the Chicago-bred artist released a 13-minute look into his life, following THE GOAT‘s No. 2 debut on the Billboard 200 this month. Opening up with a view of Chicago on a gray winter day, Polo explains how his current success is a result of his lifelong dream.
“Ever since a kid growing up, I always knew for a 100 percent fact I wanted to be something,” he said. “I knew I wanted to be rich, I knew I wanted to take care of my family. I always knew there was more to life than just my neighborhood.”
Elsewhere in the doc, we learn more about Polo’s journey from growing up in the Chi to being a father, his philanthropic efforts and more. The Die A Legend rapper also documents the process of the recording of THE GOAT the album, which included appearances from Lil Baby, NLE Choppa, Mustard, BJ The Chicago Kid, Stunna 4 Vegas and the late Juice Wrld.
