Problem has released a new short film called A Compton Story exclusively through TIDAL. Narrated by Mike Epps and executive produced by TDE’s Punch, the project is written, directed and produced by the Compton-bred rapper who also plays the central character.
Viewers follow Problem on a comical journey as he continuously puts himself at risk in the hope “at least one good deed goes unpunished.” Throughout the film, the visuals are blended with Problem’s songs, including his new single “Don’t Be Mad At Me.”
The short film features appearances from Jackie Long, RJ Cycler, Slink Johnson and Snoop Dogg who Problem has written for in the past.

While Problem has released a bevy of mixtapes and several solo albums throughout his career, A Compton Story marks his first official film.
The film’s poster features Problem in the middle of Sunset Boulevard in a grey hoodie and sweatpants with a Pit Bull Terrier at his side. The title is stylized as a reference to the children’s movie Toy Story, while the text at the top reads, “Compton… Where Anything Can Happen!”
