Beyoncé’s father Mathew Knowles has accused two members of Jagged Edge of sexually harassing his daughter and Kelly Rowland when the Destiny’s Child members were minors.
In an interview with VladTV, Knowles said two unidentified members of the R&B quartet Jagged Edge sexually harassed Beyoncé and Rowland on a tour bus. The incident allegedly occurred while the two groups were on the road with Jon B, who toured with them in 1998.
The mastermind behind Destiny’s Child made the claim while discussing former members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett’s exit from the group.

“That started from a poor decision that I made in putting … both Destiny’s Child and Jagged Edge on the same tour bus,” he told DJ Vlad. “Now remember, the girls are minors. They’re minors. They’re 16 years old. The guys are 21, 22 years old. I have a fiduciary duty with minors by the law. There’s a certain way I have to manage that.”
He continued, “I got a call from Kelly and Beyoncé — and I talk about this in the book in detail — saying that they were constantly being harassed by two of the members of Jagged Edge. And I couldn’t have that. And I literally had to put the guys off the bus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. That began all of this drama [with Luckett and Roberson].”
Vlad closed out the video by asking Knowles as a father, not a manager, how he dealt with knowing these men in their early 20s were trying to sleep with his teenage daughter.

“We won’t talk about that on camera,” Knowles said with a smirk.
Knowles’ version of these events differs from the story told on TV One’s series Unsung, which featured Jagged Edge in an episode.
According to those involved, Jagged Edge’s Brandon Casey was in a relationship with Roberson and his brother Brian was dating Luckett. Roberson claimed Jagged Edge was booted from the tour bus for standing up for Luckett’s mother, who was allegedly threatened to be kicked off the tour by Knowles if she got on the bus.
