HipHopDX Premiere

West Coast underground Hip Hop vets Blu and Fat Jack have joined musical forces for the upcoming collaborative album, Underground Makes The World Go Round.

The seven-track project boasts contributions from prolific Los Angeles underground MCs such as Busdriver, Medusa, Abstract Rude, Cashus King, Aceyalone and Myka 9. Overflowing with positive vibes, the album adheres to the quality set by the Good Life Cafe scene and Project Blowed.

“Blu shows his love for his city and his hometown heroes Freestyle Fellowship on this album,” Self Jupiter tells HipHopDX. “He gives them their flowers now and history lessons on how he as an MC first heard of Aceyalone, Myka 9, Peace and me — better known as known as the Freestyle Fellowship. DJ Fat Jack delivers the perfect backdrop for this congratulatory ode.”

Ahead of its release, the tenured duo has shared the single “Low End Theory” featuring the aforementioned Busdriver, Medusa and Abstract Rude.
