University Of Kansas Issues Apology Following Stripper-Themed Snoop Dogg Performance

The University of Kansas has issued an apology following Snoop Dogg’s Friday night (October 4) performance at the Allen Fieldhouse.

Organizers of the event were expecting a family-friendly performance but instead got several women on stripper poles — and KU’s Director of Athletics Jeff Long reportedly wasn’t impressed.

He told TMZ, “I take full responsibility for not thoroughly vetting all the details of the performance and offer my personal apology to those who were offended. We strive to create a family atmosphere at Kansas and fell short of that this evening.”

    1. Pole dancing is an extracurricular activity this day in age. It doesn’t have to involve being a stripper. Just saying. There are crazy classes offered, so with that in mind, I am not offended by the actions of a mischievous Snoop lol! I mean, would it be more appropriate if the ladies were wearing full attire? If someone chooses to have their mind in the gutter, that’s on them. I think it was fresh!

    2. A family friendly performance by Snoop. Let that sink in. These MFs knew what they were doing. Just own it and stop trying to be pretentious with that bullshit apology.

    3. It seemed as tho everyone had fun! Snoop did what he does, what he got paid for. Don’t act like yall didn’t know what Snoop was all about now, after the fact.
