Australian duo Hermitude has recruited Buddy and BJ The Chicago Kid for their hilarious new “OneFourThree” video. Directed by Nathan Presley, the visual kicks off at a convenience store with BJ behind the desk working as a cashier.
Meanwhile, an angsty teen wearing a cheerleading skirt smacks her bubble gum and rolls her eyes as another employee mops the floor, trying to get her attention. But to his disappointment, she’s with her boyfriend. Soon, the mop-wielding employee breaks into a dance before everyone else joins in.
Judging by the video, the song was just as fun to record.

“It was crazy to see Buddy and BJ throw down in the studio,” the duo tells HipHopDX. “Buddy’s raps are razor sharp, all written in the booth and BJ’s silky voice and amazing harmony style had everyone in awe.
“It’s been a real blessing to work with these high caliber artists. Watching the way they approach songwriting and morph into character when they record has been super inspiring for us.”
“OneFourThree” comes from Hermitude’s upcomingPollyanarchy album. The project is expected to arrive on September 27.
