The Butcher explained why he’s opted to remain independent despite seeing his Griselda cohorts Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine ink deals with Shady Records. The Buffalo-bred MC also spoke on the joys of making music for grown folks, his experience at J. Cole’s Revenge Of The Dreamers III sessions and confirmed JAY-Z told him to turn down the XXL Freshman cover.
