Bodog Music is proud to announce that they’ve signed the legendary Wu-Tang Clan for their European release. The 8 Diagrams, the crews first studio album in six years will be released in Germany on September 7th with separate releases for the rest of Europe on September 10th.
The album features all eight original members, without the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, but will feature some of his unreleased vocals which were recorded from the groups’ first album recording. The clan will also sing a tribute song to ODB called, “Life Changes”.
Bodog Music founder Calvin Ayre alongside the Wu‘s international rep. Eva Ries had this to say, “This is really what Bodog Music is all about: Hip-hop at its highest, with the Wu-Tang Clan being the widely respected and revered group that they are, and Bodog’s international music distribution expertise, the potential of this relationship in unlimited. Wu-Tang Clan still ain’t nothing to f#@k with.”
RZA backed up Ayre, “The RZA himself has called upon his Wu-Tang brothers to reunite and show the real unity and raw force of hip-hop. How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is Forever?”
