J. Cole has announced Dreamville Records will unveil a new film called REVENGE, which chronicles the making of Revenge Of The Dreamers III.

The Dreamville head honcho made the announcement via Twitter on Wednesday (June 26). In the caption, he revealed the film would arrive next month.

“Dropping Next Week 7/2,” he wrote. “Every time I watch it I wanna time travel back to the sessions.”

In the clip, Cole details the idea behind the long-awaited collaborative project Revenge Of The Dreamers III.

“Let’s go somewhere, lock in and invite a bunch of outside producers and artists to come fuck with us and just make this album,” Cole says.

Dozens of artists headed to Atlanta this year to work with the Dreamville posse, including Rick Ross, T.I., Big K.R.I.T., Westside Gunn, Ski Mask The Slump God, Wale, Tay Keith, Kenny Beats and S1.

In January, Cole announced the recording sessions for the album had wrapped up, but didn’t reveal a release date. In the meantime, Dreamville has dropped off two singles to pacify their fans — “Got Me” and “Down Bad.”
