Cardi B may insist on not needing the news media, but she sure does know how to keep up a headline — especially considering her murderous self-directed music video “Press.”
The visual opens up with the Invasion of Privacy star passionately kissing a woman during a threesome while caressing the face of a man, before casually killing them both.
She not only leaves an army of naked bodies scattered on the floor in a bloody massacre after an alluring militant-style dance routine but she also proves to be a fashion killer in the face of legal adversity as she struts the perp walk headed to court in a case of art imitating life.
Cardi has strutted the perp walk plenty of times, in real life, over the past year while handling accusations that she set up two New York strippers to get beat up because she believed one of them slept with her husband Offset.
Earlier this month, the Grammy Award-winning artist was indicted by a Grand Jury and is currently facing a total of 12 charges, two of which are felonies. On June 25, she entered a plea of not guilty after reportedly rejecting a plea deal from prosecutors.

If convicted, the 26-year-old could face up to four years in prison and she hardly seems worried about it.
At the 2019 BET Awards, she was named Female Artist of the Year and was the recipient of ASCAP’s Songwriter of the Year Award for her work on Invasion of Privacy.
Following the release of her “Press” music video, Cardi took to Instagram to thank her team for bringing her blood and gore vision to life.
“I really wanted to drown somebody in the toilet and kill them ‘cause that’s just such terrible way to die,” Cardi exclaimed with her signature laugh.

Her next court date is slated for September 9 but she doesn’t have to appear so don’t expect another iconic fashion runway perp walk from Cardi anytime soon.
