Lil Duval wants to “change the narrative” with his latest Charlamagne Tha God-assisted single, “Black Men Don’t Cheat.”
The comedian, rapper and R&B artist first gained musical success after his single “Smile (Living My Best Life)” landed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last year.
Duval took to Twitter on Wednesday (June 12) to push the single.
“Today we celebrate all the men that try to be faithful,” he wrote. “From this day forth we will try harder to be better. BLACK MEN STAND UP!!!!”

Both men utilize a Southern-spiritual style of production as they preach solidarity, faithfulness and willpower towards those who “try to creep.” The song is filled with hilarious lines that reinforce its title with both men coming together for its hook.
The Hot 97 radio host and author echoed Duval’s sentiments about their collaboration and need to “stand together.” He went further by announcing June 12 as, “National #BlackMenDontCheat Day,” asking his three million Instagram followers to “Stand With Us In The Name Of Faithfulness.”
The pair of longtime friends are clearly enjoying the release of their new single, which is already trending on Twitter.
