HipHopDX Premiere

Papoose has joined Bruse Wane for the new track, “Killa Soundboy.” The song comes from Wane’s upcoming project, The Dark Knight Album 2: Fight For Gotham.

According to a press release, Wane’s idea for the album is to give purists that authentic, boom bap Hip Hop.

“Once I got the beat the concept for the song came to me instantly,” Wane tells HipHopDX. “I knew I wanted to collaborate with another dope MC on this one. I just felt Papoose would be a great fit. Pap been repping authentic Hip Hop forever so who better.

“I brought Pap out to one of my shows sometime ago, so once the opportunity presented itself to work with him again I moved on it. I knew I wanted the track to be dope.”

The Dark Knight Album 2: Fight For Gotham is expected to arrive on July 15.
